JICA Training Course on Pollution Controls for Hazardous Substances in the Environment


The purpose of this programme is to provide a wide range of useful information and techniques accumulated in Japan for the improvement of the capacity in dealing with environmentally hazardous substances in those developing countries. Participants will learn the importance of hazardous substance pollution control including the regulations and measurements in Japan, the effects of the substances on human health as well as techniques of analyzing hazardous substances in environmental samples and monitoring river water.
